General FAQ's

Are your ceramics dishwasher-safe?

Yes. All items are dishwasher safe. Please note that care should be taken when stacking handmade items. 

Are your ceramics food safe?

Yes. All items are glazed with food safe glazes.

Do you offer custom orders?

Yes. Please get in touch via the contact page.


Please allow 5-7 weeks from start to delivery. 

If your custom order is urgent, please contact me with your timeframe as I may be able to expedite your order.

Please note that custom orders over $400 require a 50% deposit upfront with the balance due on completion.

How long does it take to make each piece?

Timeframes can vary. First the clay is wedged and then thrown on the wheel. Once shaped, it's left to dry. Then the piece is trimmed and left to dry completely before being bisque fired. The piece is sanded to remove any rough edges, then glazed, then fired again.

Who makes your pieces?

All pieces are hand crafted personally by me, out of my home studio in Brisbane, QLD.

I'm after a set of something, are your pieces identical?

All items are made by hand and therefore each piece may vary in final size, shape and glaze finish from the images shown. While they may not be perfectly identical, this is part of what makes each piece unique.

Shipping FAQs

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Once payment is received, items will ship within 1-2 business days via Fastway Couriers.

Will my order arrive safely?

Items are individually wrapped in bubblewrap, then completely surrounded in a bed of eco-friendly packaging void fill to protect the pieces from knocks and bumps during transit. Should something happen to the parcel despite all our packaging efforts, please get in touch to arrange an exchange or refund. 

Do you offer pick-up?

I do. Pick up is available from my home studio in Seven Hills, Brisbane. If you select the pick-up option during checkout, please add a note to arrange a suitable time.

Returns FAQ

We do not offer a refund policy due to change of mind.

Anya Hansson creates each product by hand, causing an inevitable slight variation in form and finish. While each order is heavily marked as fragile on the packaging, we unfortunately can't control how items are handled in transit. If you do receive an item/s that is damaged during postage, please get in touch via email to arrange an exchange or refund.
