Drinking vessel. 

This hand-thrown drinking vessel is a reflection of my journey through Japan.
While walking the historic Nakasendō Trail, I wandered into a small ceramics studio in one of the villages. I struck up a conversation with the potter and was deeply inspired by his philosophy and connection to the land. I purchased a beautiful cup he had made from clay he had gathered from a nearby river.
That encounter stayed with me. In creating this piece, I have woven a little of his artistic vision into my own, honouring the beauty of local materials, the quiet rhythm of handmade objects, and the meaningful connections that pottery can create across cultures.

Green crawling glaze inside and outside, with a small drip of black matte glaze.

We offer a flat rate shipping fee of $15 for all Australian orders.

Local pickup is also available at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

We do not offer a refund policy due to change of mind. Anya Hansson creates each product by hand, causing an inevitable slight variation in form and finish. While each order is heavily marked as fragile on the packaging, we unfortunately can't control how items are handled in transit. If you do receive an item/s that is damaged during postage please get in touch via email to arrange an exchange or refund. 

Be sure to attach any photos of potentially damaged goods.
